- 2014 May - I thought I'd delete the profile I wrote in 2009, because people change, as have I. But in the end I decided to keep it, just for that very reason. Just how much I have changed the blogs themselves will tell. And as before I have no agenda. The only fact I would like to share is that I am now on the positive side of fifty. I am 50+. 2009 September - Trying to write about myself is a bore, especially since I can think of nothing. My blog will likely be very little about having one’s feet firmly on the ground. There is no focus, nor any specific subject matter that I wish to write about. Yet I want to write and I intend to enjoy writing each word and expression. Where I come from, there is a concept of likeminded individuals sitting around in a familiar space every evening. We call it an ‘adda’. Over unending cups of tea, coffee and savouries they fly high into the spirit of the evening. In gregarious camaraderie they encourage each other to tell tall tales where they are the good guys fighting the battle of the just. It makes for a bubbling, creative evening that nobody wants to leave.
